We are pleased to announce that we had the opportunity to present our research at the prestigious 19th Annual Conference of the International Association for Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy (IARPP) that took place in the beautiful city of Valencia, Spain, on June 16. We had the privilege of delivering an oral presentation, titled "Video games as a means of connecting with the Other: attachment play in the interpersonal space". This oral presentation is an integral part of the ongoing PhD research project known as "Play Healthy Gaming". Our presentation primarily revolved around how video games can be effectively used as a potent tool to establish connections with others, thus, enhancing attachment play within the interpersonal space. The presentation was warmly received by the esteemed attendees and spurred interesting discussions around the role of video games in psychology and psychotherapy. The IARPP Annual Conference has long been recognized as a global platform that brings together psychotherapists and researchers, in the field of relational psychoanalysis and psychotherapy, making our participation an exceptionally rewarding experience. This successful presentation marks another significant milestone in our journey towards advancing our knowledge in the realm of video games psychology.
