I'm Cátia M. Castro, licensed clinical psychologist, and PhD student at ISPA - Instituto Universitário / APPsyCI Applied Psychology Research Center Capabilities & Inclusion, based in Lisbon, Portugal.

Play Healthy Gaming is the name of this PhD research, supervised by Professor David Neto, PhD ISPA / APPsyCI. This research aims to study video game players' psychological and interpersonal factors through profiles.

I love video games, science, and psychology, so I hope this fantastic combination can improve gamers' mental health with evidence-based scientific knowledge.

We aim to do science from an inclusive epistemic diversity view. This means that research questions, literature review, commitment, and integrity, are made with open inquiry, curiosity and inclusion awareness. We seek to develop research with a constant effort to understand different approaches and forms of diversity.

Your participation in our online surveys is crucial to the success of this research study. The ISPA Ethical Committee approved the research, and all participation and responses will be confidential. By contributing your unique insights, you're helping us better understand video gaming behaviours and the associated psychological factors.
